Golden Dragon Casino: What It Is and How It Works
"Golden Dragon casino" often means a Golden Dragon-style online social casino: a game lobby in your browser with slot games, fish tables and keno, played with entries rather than at a real-money casino table. Here is how these sites work and what to look for.
One name, several things
"Golden Dragon" is used for more than one product, which makes searches confusing:
- Golden Dragon-style social casino sites. Lobbies of slot, fish and keno games that run in a web browser. For example, playgd.mobi describes itself on its homepage as "a leading free-to-play online social casino for U.S. players, featuring premium slot games, America's Best Fish Tables, and big rewards" (checked 24 October 2026).
- Other casino websites with Golden Dragon in their name. For example, goldendragon.casino calls itself "Golden Dragon Casino", a sweepstakes casino, and a review site describes a "Golden Dragon 777" casino. Each is a separate business with its own accounts.
- Individual games called Golden Dragon, such as fish-shooting titles and slot machines made by different game studios.
- Unrelated businesses that share the name.
This article is about the first meaning: the social casino lobby. If you are looking for a specific site such as goldendragon.casino or playgd.mobi, go to that site directly; Automated Golden Dragon is none of them.
How a Golden Dragon-style social casino works
- You play in the browser. The lobby opens on a phone, tablet or computer. Many sites, including this one, can be added to your home screen so they open like an app.
- Three kinds of games. Slot games, fish tables (you shoot at moving targets that pay a multiple of your bet) and keno.
- Entries instead of chips. You play with game credits, usually called entries, that come from purchases and free rewards.
- Sweepstakes-style rewards. Wins collect in a separate balance that, under the site's rules, can be redeemed. Every site sets its own rules for this, so read them before you buy anything.
Automated Golden Dragon: where this site fits
Automated Golden Dragon (playgdauto.mobi) is one of these lobbies, run independently. It currently has 59 slot games (including Super Bomb, Twin Spin, Buffalo 777, River Walk, Cash Spin, Lion Dance, Safari Heat and Thunder Zeus), 9 fish games and 2 keno games, plus GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI jackpots. What makes it "automated":
- you create your own account in the site, with no store or distributor in between;
- purchases made with Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card are credited automatically once the payment is confirmed;
- slot and fish games have an AUTO button;
- you stay signed in until you log out.
Redeems are not automatic: each request is reviewed by a person before it is paid. More in What is Automated Golden Dragon?
Before you play on any Golden Dragon-style site
- Check that it is legal for you. Sweepstakes and social casino rules differ from state to state. These sites are for adults only (18+ here).
- Read the rules for buying and redeeming: minimums, limits, how long a redeem takes and which methods are used. Here they are in the Terms & Conditions and under HOW IT WORKS in the BUY and REDEEM windows.
- Make sure you are on the site you mean. Look-alike names are common; accounts on different sites are separate. See PlayGD vs PlayGDAuto.
- Ignore "hacks" and free-coin generators. They do not work and are a common way to lose your account. See why they are scams.
- Set yourself a budget and treat play as entertainment.
